I've spent a lifetime reading and writing, but this is my first encounter with "incunabula." Totally worth taking the time to look it up. Or, asking my computer to do so.

The only reason I used that word was to get to say "incunabula" when I read it aloud. There just aren't enough reasons to bring up incunabula in conversations, which is a pity.

"Incanabula" belongs in the E.A. Poe poem The Bells: "To the tintinnabulation that so musically wells

From the bells, bells, bells, bells,

Bells, bells, bells-

From the jingling and the tinkling of the bells."

"...and lib'ry incunabula donated by the swells." God we're good.
